Free Landlords Conference

Description:The City of York Council in conjunction with York St John University are holding a free landlords conference on 28th March 2007 with four useful workshops. You will be able to attend all four workshops if you arrive just prior to 1pm.
It is essential that you book your place early as free places are limited to 300.
Workshop 1 - Fire safety (A risk assessment approach)
This will be run by representatives from the North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service
Workshop 2 - Tenancy Deposit Schemes (these come into force 6th April 2007).This workshop will be run by representatives from the National Landlords Association (one of the providers of the tenancy deposit scheme)
Workshop 3 - A guide to the Housing Health and Safety Rating System. This will be run by representatives from the City of York Council and the Energy Advice Centre.
Workshop 4 - Security Measures (keeping your property safe)
This will be run by representatives from the Safer York Partnership
