  1. Recovering possession of your property from problem tenants - a reminder of the 'Do's and Don'ts' of serving Notices requiring possession and an update on the current law;
  2. Rent arrears - how to avoid and recover outstanding rent;
  3. The Tenancy Deposit Scheme - what are the requirements and sanctions for non compliance? What can the tenant do if you get it wrong?
  4. HMO's - How solicitors will be treating the new planning requirements for HMOs: (i) if an investor is trying to buy previously un-let property will mortgage lenders insist that planning consent is in place first and (ii) if a property was let sometime in the past what evidence will solicitors need of this to satisfy a lender.
